Job Description:

Triassic is looking for experienced and graduate level geologists who are willing and able to work on projects predominantly in Australia, with some international work. Triassic now employs well over 30 professionals. We work mainly in coal, coal bed methane (CBM), and underground coal gasification (UCG). We are on the forefront of new energy technologies (CBM, UCG) and work on some of Australia's biggest and most exciting alternative energy projects. We also have a Geophysical department which provides magnetic, seismic and geotech services to both the mining and civil sectors. We offer full training, high salaries and help with visa applications (if applying from overseas). We have a low staff turnover and many committed and enthusiastic staff members who are always ready to welcome and help new members of the Triassic team. The positions will involve working to field rosters of 19 days on with 9 days off, or 14/7, 20/10. These rosters are great for those geologists looking to travel during their breaks, or wishing to relax for 9 days a month. You will not be required to work during your break and where you go is up to you. Whilst on site you will be provided with all meals, accommodation, travel expenses, fuel, a vehicle, paid travel time to and from site, all flights from Brisbane to site, site to Brisbane (with paid travel time). We provide field gear (shirts, pants, safety wear), a fully serviced, new, mine compliant Landcruiser or Hilux, as well as free accommodation in our residential style office in Brisbane (which has inground pool, Bbq, and reverse cycle air-conditioning) for times you are working from our office. Our office is also only 10 minutes from Brisbane Airport. On top of an enthusiastic and supportive work environment, you will be paid extremely well, with superannuation and other incentive schemes on top. Senior positions involve project management, modelling, data management, client liaison, marketing, and more.
