Power Generator Mechanic

Job Location: Various Locations/LSI, Iraq

Job Description:

Perform preventive maintenance on diesel powered generators to include: fuel systems, lubrication systems and cooling systems. �� Perform major repair and rebuilds on diesel powered generators to include: cylinder head repair/replacement, combustion cylinder liner replacement, piston, connecting rod and bearing replacement. �� Diagnose and effectively repair shut down and no-start conditions on diesel powered generators. �� Process required paperwork in a timely manner. �� Must posses a thorough working knowledge of diesel engines. �� Basic generator operation fundamentals and a solid electrical background, as well as diagnostic capabilities for power generation equipment. �� Must posses the ability to troubleshoot/diagnose using wiring schematics/diagrams and service manuals �� Must also be self motivated, have good organizational skills and be able to work with little or no supervision. Team players are a must. �� Candidate must be well versed in basic maintenance safety principles, lockout/tag out procedures, and personal protective equipment usage. �� Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.

Job Requirements:

Must be age 21 or older Have a minimum of THREE years of experience in the past FIVE years You must not have High Blood Pressure or Diabetes You must have a valid US Driver's License NO FELONIES in the past seven years You must have your Passport in order to deploy
