Job Description:

Job Function for Project Manager; Job Order# 2689 PAE Government Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for a upcoming project overseas. The contract is intended to provide logistics and communications. The PM reports to the Operations Manager. Candidate Must have extensive experience in command and staff positions with an emphasis on equipment maintenance, administration and project management to oversee and supervise all aspect of the logistics depot’s daily operations. With regards to equipment, must be able to supervise, guide and lead the maintenance sections in insuring quality preventive and corrective maintenance procedures and standards are applied. Be competent to develop and oversee the preventive maintenance service schedules and enforce quality standards of corrective maintenance performed on depot equipment. Must enforce quality control policies and procedures to insure all equipment is ready and in a deployable condition at all times. Individual must also posses the following characteristics; Strong leadership and managerial skills with a strong background in building and leading a team comprised of diverse individuals for the purpose of accomplishing challenging work in a third world environment. Provide daily operational and administrative guidance to each of the Supply, Security, Communications, Transport and Maintenance departments. Must have strong financial management experience and skills and be familiar with Government contracting; must be able to wisely manage execution of the project’s budget. Must have effective written and verbal communications skills and the ability to produce a wide range of documents and reports with demanding deadlines. Must be prepared to supervise and implement various equipment and maintenance programs of instruction; may be required to assist in the development of courses of instruction covering Deployment Planning Execution and Peace Support and Contingency Operations.

Job Requirements:

Job Requirement for Project Manager; Job Order# 2689 Former U.S. Military Officer/NCO in the grade of 05/E-7 or 7 years plus equivalent experience. As the senior PAE representative in-country, must be mature in thought, judgment, and action and have the ability to positively interact and promote the operations of the depot within the international community in Columbia and elsewhere in the region as required. DESIRED SKILLS: Spanish as a second language. Previous experience in Central/South America, knowledge of U.S. Military Maintenance Programs and Instructor/trainer qualified. Position requires a secret clearance or higher.
