 International Contracts Manager

Job Description:
Coordination and structuring the contracting documents to reflect a contractual solution for Chad contract. Responsibilities include ensuring contract compliance and efficient contract administration; developing initiatives to increase profitability and cash; establishing and maintaining excellent customer relations, both internally and externally, and developing business strategies for new business opportunities. Is the main point of contact with the Contracting Officer. Advises management of contractual rights, obligations and risks; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information. Manages and participates in and/or conducts contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Participates in proposal preparation by reviewing contract terms and risks and assisting the PMO in developing mitigation strategies for proposal submittals. Oversees the evaluation of contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts and compliance to contractual obligations. Ensures final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations, and communications are maintained for timely execution by the parties. If necessary, coordinates subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. May direct the planning and participation in training of contract practices and negotiations to company personnel.
Job Requirements:
Must have at least ten (10) years of contracts experience, with at least five (5) of those years consisting of specialized experience in the direct administration of major support services contract(s) in a professional engineering, program management, and/or administrative support capacity to the government in an OCONUS environment. Expertise in FAR (Fed Acquisition Regulation). Knowledge in standard commercial acquisition practices, as well as the ability to negotiate specialized contracts preferred. Must have a BS or BA in Business, Economics, Public Administration, or equivalent. Certification as a CCCM, CCM, or CFCM is preferred; fluency in French is helpful. Excellent written and verbal communications skills, organization, and ability to interface with multiple levels of operations personnel and administrative staff. Must have an established understanding of variations of contract services provided by the company, and familiarity with advanced concepts, practices, and procedures within contracts administration.
