Job Description:

Knowledge Management Specialist with Intelligence Fusion Center (IFC) support experience for work in Afghanistan. Candidates must have an active Top Secret clearance w/ SCI access for consideration. The position requires 7 years of experience (special operations background and a Bachelor's degree preferred).


Essential Job Functions
Be a strong advocate for use of knowledge management
Lead a forum for IFC personnel
Generate and direct discussion threads on a forums
Assists teams in moderately complex formulating knowledge sharing strategies and processes to design and deploy knowledge management solutions.
Assists customers in identifying and resolving moderately complex concerns and tracking knowledge management trends/opportunities to ensure appropriate knowledge strategies are devised.
Maintains moderately complex metrics that provide insight into knowledge management effectiveness to ensure consistency.
Coordinates with cross-functional teams in the delivery of knowledge management education; ensures employees are informed.
Participates in decision making in teams that develop, deploy and sustain the intellectual assets of the organization; ensures procedures are implemented and adhered to.
Partners with clients to create the environment, knowledge management process, technology infrastructure, and knowledge management applications necessary for developing knowledge management solutions.




Basic Qualifications

US Citizen, with an active Top Secret clearance w/ SCI access - mandatory
Former experience with IFCs preferred
Technologically savvy; needs to have a working familiarity with forums, blogs, communities of practice, and other types of social networks.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Seven or more years of knowledge management experience
Experience working with knowledge management tools and techniques
Experience working with infrastructure/architecture
Experience working with metrics tools and processes
