Supported by a world-wide network of resources including state – of – the – art warehousing facilities, bulk fuel installations and real time freight tracking capabilities, our client provides workable resolutions to complex client requirements in the areas of food logistics, catering, retail, site services and fuel management.
They are currently seeking a Compensation and Benefits Manager to be part of the Central HR Department based in Dubai.
Reporting into the Director of HR, this outstanding position will involve consulting with HR and Line Managers to develop and implement reward initiatives, contributing within the HR function to develop compensation and benefits strategy and policy, managing job evaluation, assist in the planning and development of long term strategies for managing employee benefit programs; establishes schedules and methods for maintaining the employee benefits, assist in the performance management process and be involved in analysing processes and identifying improvements in the area of compensation and benefits.
This role offers the challenge of both working at an operational level and influencing and supporting strategy.

Job Requirements:
Knowledge and Skills:
The successful candidate should ideally have a tertiary qualification in HR / Personnel or Business Administration and be an accomplished Compensation and Benefits specialist.
Essential experience includes extensive experience in compensation and benefits and experience in a HR managerial role. Candidates will need an expert knowledge of salary administration, Hay .job evaluation, job design, and the international / ex – pat remuneration market. An excellent understanding of country regulations regarding compensation and benefits, strong analytical and problem solving skills and experience working a large complex environment in a similar role.
You should have a grasp of broader business issues and the ability to initiate and deliver change in a way that engages our client’s people.
In addition you should have a positive, professional and proactive approach and have the essential ability to communicate at all levels and a commitment to develop, both in terms of our client’s HR function and on a personal basis.
You should be fluent in written and spoken English and have a strong attention to detail.
Superb communication skills and instant credibility are essential as you will be inter-facing with a number of people from different backgrounds, nationalities and religions.
You will be resourceful with a flexible outlook, have the ability to multi-task in order to handle competing priorities and be able to fit in to an international dynamic and multi-cultural environment.
Finally you should possess a Drivers Licence and be IT / PC literate particularly in Excel and spreadsheets.

A competitive salary is paid in AED and is tax free for an Ex-Pat employee. In addition there is an annual bonus payable equivalent to one month’s salary which is also paid in AED and is tax free for an Ex-Pat employee.
Inn addition you will receive medical insurance, 25 days annual leave per year and an Ex- Pat employee will be entitled to 1 paid return economy flight per year. A relocation allowance is also payable.
