Job Description:

Install, maintain and repair installed existing equipment and related AC and DC existing branch circuits and feeders including "but not limited to" low voltage control circuits, motors, transformers, and electrical distribution panels. Determines general condition of all electrical equipment, be able to troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and determine extent of necessary repairs. Work with and understand blueprints, electrical schematics and job specifications as it applies to your craft. Ability to determining and clearly identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing repair projects. Fire Alarm experience highly desirable and or willingness to successfully complete Fire Alarm training.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Four years electrical experience at the journeyman level. Must possess experience with trade related testing equipment such as meggers, earth ground test equipment, multi-meters, amp probes etc. Required to perform predictive and preventative maintenance on existing electrical equipment utilizing Reliability Centered Maintenance practices. Experience with RCM technology and related RCM tools is highly desirable or be willing to learn. Knowledge of OSHA Lock-Out/Tagout procedures. Must be able to act professional and be a team player in a multi cultural environment. Hazard: May work with high voltage under the supervision of HV electricians. Basic computer skills required Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD secret clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Naturalization. Valid U.S. driver's license and U.S. passport required. Remote overseas assignment on Ascension Island with no family accommodations.
