Job Description:

The consultancy positions will be dedicated to the production of script writing for mental health and psychosocial department’s efforts to enhance its e-Learning approach to integrating mhGAP material into the primary health care. Consistent with an adult learning approach to use audio and visual learning aids, IMC will support the production of two mental health learning videos which focus on mental health disorders covered in the mhGAP treatment guide specifically, psychosis. Videos will be integrated into IMC’s e-Learning training.

Deliverables:

• Develop a script for 10 minute learning video on behavioral disorders using mhGAP material;
• The script should be consistent with mhGAP Intervention Guide regarding guidelines for assessment, management and referral;
• The script will organize time allocation as follows; 3 minutes on assessment, 3 minutes on management, and 3 minutes on follow up or referral;
• Scripts will be detailed specifying the number of characters (actors) in each script, with description of their profile (age/gender and description of how the actor should present);
• Script should be completed by 19th of August (aim to film the videos on 29th and 30th of August)

Job Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS
• Advanced degree in the field of mental health. Priority will be given to applicants with at least 3-5 years of clinical mental health experience.
• Experience with training in an international development context
• Demonstrated experience applying mhGAP material.
