JOB SUMMARY
Supports country team by managing grants portfolio.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
1. Report preparation and writing. In liaison with program departments, gather project information for the preparation of reports.
2. Proposal development and drafting of concept notes with input from program colleagues.
3. Monitoring and evaluation. In liaison with program departments and with support from consultants and experts as necessary:
• develop systems and standards for regular assessment and monitoring to ensure timely and effective implementation as measured against objectives and indicators,
• Lead in design of data collection including analysis and reporting on data to highlight program impact
• Lead in the design and execution of surveys, field based research to generate quality reports to inform project design and improve effectiveness of programs.
4. Draft communications materials.
5. Drawing in input from programs develop information materials, capability statements, situation reports and media pieces highlighting the work and impact on International Medical Corps programs.
6. Support the Country Director and Program departments as required, for example with donor coordination and other project implementation tasks.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject.
• Experience of Monitoring and Evaluation including designing surveys
• Excellent writing skills; experience of program report writing for major donors and proposal writing.
• Communications experience (developing information materials).
• Experience of working in a field setting preferably in the Arab world.
• Knowledge of the health sector would be an advantage.
