Job Description:

JOB PHYSICALLY LOCATED IN RURAL HAITI. LOOKING FOR 3+ YEAR COMMITMENT.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leading a diverse team who are committed to serve the most vulnerable with practical and compassionate care, HHF’s Administrator oversees all program and support activities in-country. Representing HHF in issues relating to the country program, the Administrator will also play a key role in donor relations, and managing HHF’s strategy and project implementation, keeping HHF ‘on mission’. Supporting and overseeing the monitoring, evaluation, and reporting on the implementation of planned activities.
  • Completing monthly reports for US headquarters
  • Responding to general email inquiries from US headquarters and donors.
  • Coordinating travel logistics for visiting volunteers.
  • Ensure all program activities and support functions comply with applicable national and international laws.
  • Develop and maintain contact with in-country representatives of relevant funding partners.
  • Contributing regular updated information for HHF’s fundraising efforts, including mailings and Facebook, Twitter and other social media accounts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Minimum education - 4 year degree in Business, Nonprofit Management, Humanitarian studies or related degree.

Advanced degree in related subject preferred.

English fluency required, knowledge of French or Haitian Kreyol preferred (or ability and willingness to learn Haitian Kreyol).
