We are working with an associate recruitment consultancy whose client is an international moving and relocation company. They are currently looking to recruit an
Afrikaan and English speaking Moving Insurance Claims Manager to be based in Cape Town, South Africa. The position is permanent.
The Moving Insurance Claims Manager will be a dynamic and hands-on person who will manage the South Africa claims team, comprising a team of four, working directly under the Global Group Claims Manager.
Specifically you will manage the work flow and validate first proposals.
You will ensure the smooth processing of all claims.
You will ensure smooth running of difficult files.
You will manage the admin side as well as ensuring fair and efficient claims proposal and administrative process.
You should be an accomplished English and Afrikaan speaking Insurance Claims Manager with experience of marine claims insurance.
You must be FAIS compliant and must have passed the regulatory examinations in order to be able to deal with clients.
You will have RE5- Representative as a minimum, and if possible have also the RE1- Key Individual accreditation.
You will have an attractive and persuasive voice with a good telephone phone manner.
You will enjoy speaking to and meeting new people and able to communicate with different levels of people.
You will have good detailed organizational, time management and planning skills.
You should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans, able to adapt to rapid changes in a positive manner and work to tight deadlines. The ability to speak another African language is highly desirable.
Superb inter-personal skills and instant credibility are essential as you will be inter-facing with a number of people from different backgrounds, nationalities and religions.
You will be resourceful with a flexible outlook, have the ability to multi-task in order to handle competing priorities.
Finally you should possess a Drivers Licence and be PC / IT literate.
Salary is negotiable dependent upon knowledge and skill set.
