Our client is a major food manufacturing company based in Saudi Arabia.
They are currently seeking a National Account Manager. The position is permanent.
Reporting into the Sales Director , the successful candidate will maximise sales and develop strong long term relationships between our client and nominated National Account Customers.
The overall objective is to position our client as the preferred supplier in each of the product sectors they serve.
You will be an accomplished National Account / Key Account Manager with experience of selling into the retail sector.
Highly developed analytical skills are essential, as are well developed IT/ PC skills (including Excel), and you must be able to interpret data and information in various formats.
You will be numerate, have excellent presentation and communication skills, be able to communicate at all levels, and be decisive, assertive and persuasive.
You will be innovative and demonstrate originality and creativity in solving problems and meeting the needs of the clients and the sector.
You will have the ability to develop and communicate sound commercial arguments, and have a thorough understanding of the cost drivers and their impact on our client's operations.
You must be able to make sound rational decisions based on the available information, display initiative, be pro-active, creative and innovative.
You will have high stress tolerance, able to work under pressure and remain calm, be realistic and composed.
You should be self-confident, realistic, have faith in your own abilities, able to act independently and generally be self-sufficient.
You should possess excellent communication skills in English and ideally one other language, able to adapt to rapid changes in a positive manner, work to tight deadlines and pay attention to the detail.
Superb communication skills and instant credibility are essential as you will be inter-facing with a number of people from different backgrounds, nationalities and religions.
You will be resourceful with a flexible outlook, have the ability to multi-task in order to handle competing priorities and be able to fit in to an international dynamic and multi-cultural environment.
Finally you should possess a Drivers Licence.
This is an outstanding challenge for an accomplished National Accounts Sales Manager looking for something different. The basic salary is paid in Sars and is tax free for an Ex-Patriate employee.
In addition there is an annual bonus payable of up to 3 months basic salary based on performance which is also paid in Sars and tax free for an Ex-Patriate employee.
A housing allowance is payable and there is a fully maintained car or car allowance available. Other benefits include medical insurance, 30 days paid annual leave and a contribution of up to 50% on school tuition fees.
You will receive one paid return air fare to your home base each year. Mobilization and De-Mobilization flights are also paid for by our client.
