We are working with an associate recruitment company who has offices in New Zealand.
The client is a well-established Contractor with over 30 years of successful construction they operate in 6 core areas, Structures, Roading, Infrastructure, Landscapes, Subdivisions and Precast. They are located around New Zealand.
They are currently seeking a Drill Piling Foreman to work on projects in Canterbury, New Zealand. The initial contract is for 6 months.
You will need to be at Foreman level in Drilling Piling (as opposed to Bash piling).
You will need to have experience in Drilling up to a depth of 40-50 metres.
You will be able to pole drive casings.
These positions are offered initially on a 12 month contract. Thereafter new contracts can be offered and if you wish to stay in New Zealand, the end client will offer sponsorship.
You will be an experienced Civil Foreman, you will hold strong communication and project solving skills with the ability to plan and coordinate projects and resource as required.
You will have been working within a Civil and Piling environment in previous roles.
Candidates other than from New Zealand must be available to travel on a working holiday visa and have a minimum of 6 months unexpired time on an existing working holiday visa or alternatively able to gain a working holiday visa to New Zealand.
If successful, candidates will have to pay their own costs of getting across to New Zealand i.e. visa £85, flights approx. £800, possibly cheaper and also pay for their own accommodation.
The end client will assist candidates secure temporary accommodation for the first few weeks after they arrive and will also assist getting bank accounts and tax numbers set up.
