Our client is a leading catering and life support services company operating in the Middle East who provide catering, maintenance, housekeeping and laundry services to a wide range of clients.
They are currently seeking an Integrated Facilities Manager to be responsible for a contract proving camp services to an oil and gas client across 8 sites.
Reporting into the Company General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of all 8 sites to achieve client satisfaction and for a safe and efficient day to day operation at each site, all within a set budget and meeting all aspects of the contract.
Specifically via a team of Site Operations Managers, you will manage and plan all Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) requirements. This will cover catering, maintenance, laundry etc.
You will maintain and develop a relationship with the client and their representatives.
You will be responsible for the commercial management of the operation to meet and exceed budget and financial targets.
You will oversee the management of the camp facilities to provide life support services to the client and contractor personnel in line with the contract provisions.
You will provide reports and information on operational and financial performance as required.
You will control, maintain, improve and disseminate company operations, policies and procedures manuals.
You will maintain asset management systems for all client and company assets and will maintain stock inventory to meet predicted requirement levels.
You will manage staff in accordance with the agreed policies and budgets of the company and will handle all necessary disciplinary matters and staff issues in a timely and appropriate manner.
You will monitor manpower and work allocations in support of Operations to ensure that staff resources are maximised, overtime is minimised and that all activities are covered and services provided to agreed customer service levels.
You will identify staff development needs to meet business needs and will arrange appropriate training through the HR function.
You will act as a role model and will coach / mentor junior staff in the company values and behaviours expected from staff.
You will ensure that the culture and the values of our client are understood and the same is communicated to all staff to enable them to live up to the values at all times.
You will follow all applicable policies and procedures required for the successful execution of the job.
Finally you will make recommendations for continual improvement and will support improvement initiatives the Company undertakes.
You will be required to work additional hours at times, depending upon workloads to meet operational requirements.
You will also be required to travel in the role to visit the various sites etc.
The ideal candidate will be an accomplished Country Manager / Camp Services Manager / Facilities Manager and will have a proven track record in camp services, facilities management ideally in the Middle East and internationally.
You must have a strong catering background and have experience of managing multi-sites.
You will have an excellent knowledge of remote site management and your operational experience should have included responsibility for multi-site catering, housekeeping, laundry and maintenance.
You should have experience of managing budgetary and cost control management.
You should have knowledge and working experience with ISO accreditations and HSE legislation.
You will have strong entrepreneurial flair, good commercial and financial acumen, be achievement oriented and have strong leadership skills able to create team effectiveness.
You will be energetic, highly motivated, results oriented and capable of inspiring your team. Capable of independent thought and possess excellent planning and organisation skills, able to work to tight deadlines.
You should be able to deliver training and development opportunities for employees.
You should possess excellent communication skills in English. The ability to speak Arabic is a distinct advantage. You will be able to adapt to rapid changes in a positive manner and work to tight deadlines.
Superb inter-personal skills and instant credibility are essential as you will be inter-facing with a number of people from different backgrounds, nationalities and religions.
You will be resourceful with a flexible outlook, have the ability to multi-task in order to handle competing priorities and be able to fit in to an international dynamic and multi-cultural environment.
Finally you should possess a Drivers Licence and be PC / IT literate particularly with MS office.
