As a Software Test Engineer specializing in Medical Devices, particularly CT Scan Devices, your responsibilities would encompass a range of crucial tasks to ensure the safety, reliability, and effectiveness of the software involved. Here's a breakdown of your key responsibilities : - Test Planning and Strategy : Develop comprehensive test plans based on software requirements and specifications. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project objectives and define testing strategies. Identify test scenarios, prioritize testing efforts, and allocate resources effectively. - Test Case Development : Create detailed test cases covering functional, non-functional, and edge cases. Design test scenarios to validate critical functionalities such as image reconstruction, data processing, and patient data management. Ensure the software operates safely and effectively within the intended clinical environment. - Risk Assessment and Mitigation : Identify potential risks associated with software defects or failures. Conduct risk analysis to prioritize testing efforts and focus on high-risk areas.
