Technical Lead - Agile/Project Methodologies

Job Description: As the Offshore IT Lead, you will set up a productive and efficient offshore development center, collaborate with the onshore team, and ensure the successful delivery of all technology projects. Location : Gurgaon, Your Future Employer - A multinational personal and commercial insurer operating across Europe and the Middle East. Responsibilities : - Providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to IT professionals including but not limited to developers, testers, data analysts, and other IT experts. - Collaborating with the onshore team and stakeholders to understand project requirements and align resources accordingly to ensure seamless project delivery. - Implementing best practices for software development and delivery, including Agile - Ensuring clear and concise reporting to upper management on progress and team performance - Managing IT resources effectively, including budgeting and resource allocation Requirements : - Previous experience in similar roles, demonstrating the ability to build high-performing tech teams. - Experience dealing with major stakeholders and large strategic suppliers. - Experience in agile and multi-program delivery, preferably with project and program experience. - Experience within the financial services industry is an advantage but not essential. - Attention to detail and accuracy in information. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
