More than 1,900 employees in more than 20 countries work every day to meet jointly with the customers to ensure pioneering safety technology solutions.- Position Title: SAP Consultant - MM Qualifications: Graduate/Postgraduate in Computer stream Experience: 4 to 6 Years Job Location: Pune Job Brief: The primary purpose of this position is to support existing Core-Team positioned in Wuppertal, Germany in SAP Rollout, Support activities at subsidiaries geographically located at China, Brazil, India, etc. you will work with key business stakeholders and senior management to understand and prioritize information requirements and provide technical solutions. Major Activities / Principal Accountabilities: - - Provide post-implementation support for MM incidents, changes and associated interfaces and reports. - Should interact with business users and understand the business requirements and translate the same requirements in the form of technical requirements in SAP - Prepare functional specification for customization and developments - Assist in mapping the requirements into SAP Processes and design the solutions. Testing, assist in the development of test scripts. Finalize the configuration & support the solution Major Challenges: - Providing support to diverse locations and time zones. - May require working in shifts in future Roles and Responsibilities: - 1-3 years of work experience in SAP MM Configuration and Support. - Diversified information technology experience and broad knowledge of SAP MM along with most of the modules linked - Must have knowledge/experience about Business process in manufacturing and distribution industry operation - Should have worked in support projects and have good exposure to MM Purchasing & MRP functions - Should have expertise in MRP, reorder point, safety stock, forecast, consumption, DRP, planned independent requirements - Master data, Material Master, Vendor Master Creation and evaluation, Purchase Info Record, Source List, and Quota Arrangement. Inventory Management (Goods receipt, Goods Issue, Stock Transfer, Consignments, Physical Inventory, reservations.) - Procurement Process for Stock and Direct Consumption, Subcontracting and Consignment. Defining Pricing Procedure.
