Senior Technical Lead - Vue.js/Node.js

Job Summary : We are seeking an ambitious, energetic, and versatile Tech Lead to join our team in Mohali. As a Tech Lead, you will play a crucial role in guiding the architecture and security of our applications, managing servers, and staying updated on new technologies. You will be responsible for setting coding standards, ensuring technical excellence, and leading a team of developers. Work and Responsibilities: - Lead and manage a team of developers, providing them with guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their professional growth and success. - Design applications to be scalable and secure, adhering to coding standards and best practices. - Stay updated with new technologies, industry trends, and frameworks, and evaluate their potential impact on our products and development processes. - Manage servers and infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and stakeholders, to define project needs and deliverables. - Review code and provide feedback to ensure quality and adherence to best practices. - Implement and maintain software development methodologies, agile practices, and version control systems. - Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges, and propose solutions to improve system performance and reliability. - Stay updated with the latest security practices and ensure robust security in our applications. - Work with the QA team to ensure thorough testing and quality assurance of software solutions. Skills and Requirements : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 3-4 years in a leadership role. - Strong technical skills in web and mobile application development, with expertise in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js, React.js, or Next.js. - Proficiency in backend technologies such as PHP, Laravel, WordPress, Node.js, Express.js, Firebase, MongoDB, MySQL, and SQL Server. - Experience in server management, including cPanel, WHM, Apache server, Nginx server, Linux commands, and cloud platforms like Digital Ocean, AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Familiarity with package management tools like NPM and composer. - Strong understanding of system design principles, including monolithic and microservices architectures, low-level design, scalable software and database design, and distributed systems. - Experience in SDLC processes, repository services like GitHub or BitBucket, testing processes, code review, refactoring, and resource management. - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate between multiple projects and align with overall business goals. - Experience in documentation, including BRD, TRD, RMD, and familiarity with Agile methodology.
