Role Description : This is a full-time role for a Lead Java Developer at VARITE INC. As a Lead Java Developer, you will be responsible for software development, including designing and implementing microservices using the Spring Framework. You will also be involved in programming and development using Java. This is a hybrid role, allowing for a mix of in-office work in Bengaluru and some remote work. Qualifications : Technical Core Primary Skills (Developer)Good understanding of Microservices architecture and design patterns. Primary Skills : Java / Spring Boot, WebServices (SOAP and REST). Integaration (ESB) : Basics of Solace / Confluent Kafka. Database / Memory : Oracle, PostgreSQL, Hazelcast. Observability : ELK. Container : OCP. Cloud : AWS. Basic understanding of ADO DevOps. Qualifications : 5 Years of Exp. Skill : Spring Boot, Microservices, Oracle, Azure DevOps Operations, Apache Kafka. Experience: 6 years. Notice Period : Immediate to (30 Days). Location : Bangalore / Chennai. Responsibilities : Lead the design, development, and implementation of Microservices-based applications using Java and Spring Boot. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement architectural standards and best practices. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Design and develop Web Services using both SOAP and RESTful APIs. Implement integration solutions using Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technologies such as Solace and Confluent Kafka. Work with various databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Hazelcast for efficient data storage and retrieval. Ensure observability of applications by implementing logging, monitoring, and alerting using ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) stack. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and quality guidelines. Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production environments. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement. Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5-12 years of experience in Java development with a strong understanding of Microservices architecture. Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks. Extensive experience in designing and developing Web Services (SOAP and REST). Basic understanding of integration technologies such as Solace and Confluent Kafka. Hands-on experience with databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, and in-memory databases like Hazelcast. Familiarity with observability tools and techniques using ELK stack. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
