We are looking for an experienced senior engineering leader with a diverse background to lead large engineering teams at Simform. You should have a mature understanding of software design and architecture, backend and cloud tech, data and ML tech and have experience leading a large teams and software services operations. Role Responsibilities: - Defining, improving engineering best practices in the area of backend/cloud/data/ML. - Building new competencies within teams. - Oversee effectiveness of upskilling efforts at scale for a large team. - Occasionally help project teams with solutions architecture, troubleshooting, and technical implementation assistance. - Help Presales team with solution design, Join Presales calls to consult clients and do tech deep-dive on solutions. - Ensure standards and best practices are implemented and practiced by large cross-technical At least 12 yrs of experience in tech roles. At least 5 years of experience in engineering leadership role (Tech lead and above). - Experience in building reliable, robust, secure, and high-performance in-production software systems with a large user base. - Strong understanding of Cloud (Preferably AWS) and hands on exp of large scale cloud native dev, modernization, PaaS etc. - Strong understanding of data engineering (ETL, Analytics, BI ) etc. - Proven experience in building competencies and teams. - Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building. - Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the "big picture" view (ref:hirist.tech)
