Infrastructure Architect

The Infrastructure Solution Architect plays a crucial role in establishing and enhancing the IT Architecture practice within the organization. They are responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of solution development, from ideation to implementation. Additionally, they serve as a technical escalation point, provide project management support, and act as a backup resource for Data Center (DC) and Network services. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for assisting in the establishment of an IT Architecture practice, and the adoption of an architecture and standards methodology. - Manages activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation. - Reviews business context for solutions to company challenges as well as defining the vision and requirements for the solution, recommending potential options, (which may include RFIs, RFPs or prototype development), selecting the most optimal option, and developing a roadmap for the selected solution. - Communicates the architecture to the stakeholders and collaborates and coordinates with existing domain architects in the formalisation and adoption of IT standards and procedures. - Manage technical escalations, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues. - Work as a Tech Manager & Backup resource for DC & Network services. - Project Management & execution Qualifications and Work Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. - 6 years of experience as an Infrastructure Solution Architect/Technical Manager. Technical experience in at least 3 of the following domains: - Data Center & Cloud Infrastructure (Server, Storage, Backup, Azure, AWS, VMware/HCI, BCP/DR). - Network & Security. - ATM Automation & Analytics (Applications Solution, API, MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle DB, Automation & Analytics). - Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical programs effectively. - Experience in project management and implementation. - Proficiency with information technologies in secure network environments. - Expertise with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project, SharePoint) or similar software. Required skills and competencies: - Analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work under indirect supervision. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Broad understanding of information technology topics. - Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative management style. - Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable to new challenges. - Flexible in a fast-paced dynamic environment. - Technically creative and open-minded.
