Job Description : Key Responsibility Areas : - Develop and execute the engineering strategy to support the company's overall vision and goals. - Lead the engineering team and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation. Manage and prioritize engineering resources to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of products and features. - Monitor and evaluate technology trends, tools, and frameworks to identify opportunities for innovation and optimization. - Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing among the engineering team. - Work with various stakeholders to identify the scope of the projects, and come up with the approach and design for the project. - Document the architectural blueprint and end-to-end design through flowcharts and diagrams. - Troubleshoot any errors or issues that arise in the application/infrastructure components quickly and efficiently. Skills and Expertise (Must Have) : - Expertise in backend development with any of the programming languages like Golang, Rust, PHP, Python, etc (Any one language) - In-depth understanding of fundamentals of SQL and NoSQL. Experience in databases like Postgres, Cassandra, Graphdb, etc. (Any one) - In-depth understanding of event driven systems architecture and Design. Hands-on experience on message queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ or both. - Knowledge of monitoring framework (APM or ELK) - Strong technical background in software engineering, architecture, and design patterns. - Min 10 Years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. - Hands on experience of data model, database design, and data analytics. - Hands on experience of architecture and design of large systems on cloud infrastructure like AWS, GCP or Azure. - Experience in CI/CD, containers and Kubernetes with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Experience of leading, hiring, mentoring, coaching and performance management of engineers in the team. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization. - Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and vendors. - Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Good to Have : - Experience with SaaS, enterprise software, or other complex software products is a plus. - Experience with machine learning and data analytics is a plus. Mandatory : - B.
