Matter - Lead Android Developer - Java/Kotlin

We at Matter are looking for Lead Android Developer. Location : Ahmedabad/Pune Experience : 6-9 years Primary Skills : Java, Kotlin, cross platform experience(Flutter or react native) Roles and Responsibilities : Collaborating with the functional team to understand and define app specifications. Take Part in Effort Estimations and feasibility Check for any new requirements. Writing efficient, clean, and maintainable code using programming languages like Java or Kotlin. Integrating APIs and third-party libraries to enhance app functionality. Debugging and troubleshooting issues to ensure smooth app performance. Implementing user interfaces that align with design guidelines. Staying updated with the latest trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the Android ecosystem. Build Upload for DEV, QA, and Production Environments Working Closely with the QA team as well as product owners. Comfortable in field test along with vehicle and cross functional devices. Skills Required : Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes. Work with a highly modularized codebase, largely written in Primary Kotlin for Build features within an MVVM stack, using Jetpack components, a database-backed model (RoomDB), consuming. RESTful APIs (with Retrofit & OkHttp) and integrating with third-party SDKs. Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, design patterns, and best practices. Experience in Bluetooth connectivity. Expert in application debugging, Unit testing and bug fixing. Experience with RxJava, Dagger, Retrofit, and other common Android libraries. Understanding of UX/UI designs and mobile prototypes must. Relevant working experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a big plus. Good to knowledge about Flutter,Swift.
