Technical Lead - PHP/Javascript

We are now looking for a Tech lead who will help us accelerate and drive parts of this technology roadmap. As Tech lead, you will : 1. Own and drive parts of the technology roadmap for the organization contributing to business goals 2. Mentor a highly passionate young engineering team that is as committed to technology as it is to creating impact through technology 3. Drive agility and innovation in the technology function to drive business growth and efficiency through use of cutting edge technologies 4. Bring in industry best-practices for engineering processes, tools and methodologies 5. Bring subject matter expertise in technology areas and guide the architectural decisions in collaboration with technical experts/ consultants where necessary You should : 1. Be excited about working in a high growth, impact driven, social enterprise. 2. Bring a can-do attitude and creative problem-solving skills to deliver impact at scale. 3. Have overall 6 years' experience in design and development of secure scalable systems. 4. Hands on experience with PHP & other backend technologies. 5. Hands on experience with React Native/React JS/Angular. 6. A strong understanding of common architecture and design approaches to building large-scale systems. 7. Hands on experience with any cloud (Preferably AWS) a plus 8. Knowledge of MySQL or Postgres, Knowledge of no-sql DBs such as mongodb, elastic search(is a plus) 9. Have at least 1 year experience leading and managing small teams (2-4 members) 10. Have experience and understanding of Agile methods especially Scrum, DevOps especially in a cloud-driven environment (ref:hirist.tech)
