Software Engineer/Senior Engineer - Ruby on Rails/Node.js

We are hiring for engineers who are passionate about building new and scalable platforms driven by technology. Who loves to brainstorm and find solutions for the challenging problem statements that we are trying to solve. You will be a part of the founding engineering team that will have an opportunity to design and own an entire engineering system from scratch, and have an opportunity of working closely with the co-founders and other leadership team. What will you do? - Build and setup the foundational platform which will be scalable enough to host 40 brands across various industries - Design complex architecture and schema to handle massive amounts of data across B2B and B2C segment - Researching new technologies and adapt them as per our needs and requirements - Own and commit to all your work, and be accountable for your results - Using and understanding code from Open Source - Learning and coaching others in a variety of advanced skills across a range of programming languages, platforms, databases and frameworks - Participate in a culture of quality, collaboration and continuous innovation, by engaging in code reviews, writing tech specs and automated tests, and engaging in regular tech talks and discussions What are we looking for in you? - A tech-savvy engineer who loves solving challenging problems and is passionate about driving customer success. - Hands-on experience in one of the scripting languages: Ruby or Nodejs or Python. - Knowledge of working on Linux and/or MacOS|BSD operating system - Comfort of working with and appreciation for Agile development and open source - Startup mindset, ability of working in a highly dynamic & fluid environment and high willingness to learn (ref:hirist.tech)
