Oracle Retail Merchandising System Architect - Retek Applications

Responsibilities: - Lead the design and implementation of Oracle Retail Merchandising System (ORMS) solutions for our clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices. - Architect and configure Oracle Retek applications to meet specific business requirements, including system integrations, data migrations, and customizations. - Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and coding best practices. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define solution architectures, and recommend enhancements to optimize the use of Oracle Retek applications. - Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues related to Oracle Retail Merchandising System (ORMS) implementations. - Stay current with Oracle Retail technology advancements, industry trends, and best practices to continuously enhance expertise and drive innovation in solution Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred. - Proven experience as an Oracle Retek Architect or similar role, with a focus on Oracle Retail Merchandising System (ORMS). - In-depth knowledge of Oracle Retek applications, including configuration, customization, and integration capabilities. - Strong expertise in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and database concepts. - Experience with Oracle Retail modules such as Merchandising, Pricing, Inventory, and Supply Chain Management. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. - Oracle certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Oracle Retail, Oracle Database) are a plus. - Ability to travel occasionally to client sites, as required.
