Hiring for SAP PROJECTS SPECIALIST Job Location : Ahmedabad - 5 days working - Minimum experience - 6 - 8 years Salary budget : upto 35 lpa Job Type : Full Time (on-site) Role Purpose : - As a SAP Project specialist for DMS (Dealer Management System), SFA (Sales Force Automation), CRM (Customer Relationship Management), and BI (Business Intelligence), your primary responsibility will be to work with business stakeholders to identify their requirements, design and configure SAP Integrations, and ensure that the system is aligned with the organization's goals. Areas Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities : Key Activities & Deliverables : 1. Working with business stakeholders to understand their requirements for DMS, SFA, CRM, and BI functionality within SAP. 2. Configuring SAP to meet those requirements, including setting up custom fields, workflows, and reports. 3. Collaborating with other SAP specialists to ensure that the DMS, SFA, CRM, and BI solutions are integrated with other enterprise systems. 4. Providing guidance and support to end-users on the use of DMS, SFA, CRM, and BI functionality integrated SAP. 5. Developing and maintaining project documentation, including design documents, test plans, and user manuals. 6. Conducting system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing. 7. Providing guidance on best practices for DMS, SFA, CRM, and BI-related processes and procedures. 8. Participating in post-implementation support activities, such as bug fixing and system maintenance. 9. Monitoring system performance and identifying areas for improvement. 10. Communicating project status, issues, and risks to project managers and other stakeholders. - To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in SAP systems, particularly in the areas of integration of SAP with either DMS, SFA, CRM or BI. You should have experience with SAP-related technologies, such as SAP S/4HANA, as well as with SAP-related tools, such as SAP Solution Manager, IBP, BI/BO. - Additionally, you should be able to work collaboratively with stakeholders and have excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. A certification in SAP would also be beneficial. Key Interactions : Internal : Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and BI teams. External : Vendors, Partners, SaaS solution providers, Data Suppliers etc. Key Dimensions : Financial Dimensions : - Cost Estimates, Budgeting & planning of the Projects - Budget variance - Return on investment (ROI) - Cost per deliverable - Cost savings - Earned value management (EVM). - Benefit realization - Team To manage hybrid teams of 3-4 members. Role Requirements : - Educational Qualifications B.E. or higher education in Computer science. - Project management / SAP certification will be add-on and preferred. - Experience (Type & Nature) 6-8 Years of similar experience in FMCG Manufacturing/ Retail or similar industry. Skills & Technical Competencies Technical : - As a SAP project manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of SAP projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards. Here are some of the key technical competencies & understanding that you will need : 1. SAP implementation methodologies. 2. SAP systems and modules : You should have a deep understanding of SAP systems and modules, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BI, SAP CRM, and SAP SCM. 3. SAP Basis administration. 4. SAP development : You should have a good understanding of SAP development tools and technologies, including ABAP, SAP Fiori, and SAP HANA. 5. Integration : You should have a good understanding of SAP integration technologies, such as SAP PI/PO (Process Integration/Process Orchestration). 6. Data migration. 7. Testing methodologies. Essential Skills/Competencies : As a SAP project manager, you will need to possess a range of other skills here are some competencies that you will need : 1. Project management : You will need strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and team leadership. 2. Business acumen : You should have a strong understanding of business processes and requirements, particularly in the areas of finance, supply chain, human resources, and customer relationship management. 3. Communication: Both verbal and written, should be able to communicate effectively. 4. Change management. (ref:hirist.tech)
