Centific - Senior Business Analyst - Logistics Domain

As a Centific Technical Business Analyst (BA) you are going to act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams within the organization. Technical BAs play a critical role in understanding business needs, analyzing requirements, and translating them into actionable technical specifications that guide software development, system implementation, and other technical projects. IMMEDIATE JOINER PREFERRED - A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst preferably in the service industry. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to understand complex business processes and technical concepts. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey requirements and collaborate with diverse teams. - Experience with requirement gathering techniques, such as interviews, workshops, and surveys. - Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum. - Proficiency in creating diagrams, flowcharts, and wireframes using tools like Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or similar. - Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. - Strong attention to detail and an organized approach to managing and documenting requirements. - Previous experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or a related role is preferred. - Relevant certifications, such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), may be advantageous. Your Responsibilities 1. Requirement Elicitation and Analysis: - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements and user needs. - Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications, considering feasibility, scalability, and technical constraints. 2. Documentation: - Create clear and comprehensive documentation, including business requirement documents, user stories, use cases, and functional specifications. - Define acceptance criteria and success metrics to guide development and testing efforts. 3. Solution Design and Validation: - Work closely with technical teams (developers, designers, architects) to ensure that the proposed solution aligns with business goals and requirements. - Validate technical designs against business requirements to ensure accuracy and completeness. 4. Stakeholder Communication: - Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, end users, and technical teams to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and expectations. - Act as a liaison between different departments to resolve conflicts and clarify ambiguities. 5. Data Analysis: - Analyze data and business processes to identify opportunities for improvement, automation, or optimization. - Collaborate with data teams to define data requirements and ensure accurate data flows within systems. 6. Testing and Quality Assurance: - Define and execute testing plans, including functional, user acceptance, and regression testing, to ensure the delivered solution meets requirements. - Identify defects and work with development teams to resolve issues. 7. Change Management: - Support change management efforts by providing documentation, training, and assistance during software implementations and system upgrades. 8. Continuous Improvement: - Recommend process improvements and innovative solutions based on a deep understanding of business needs and technology capabilities. 9.
