Senior Software Engineer (Workday Extend & Workday Prism)

Position Summary: The Senior Software Engineer, Workday Extend and Prism will be responsible for managing the Workday Extend and Prism application. This role will be responsible for ensuring the development and maintenance of Workday Extend. Senior Software Engineer will work closely with Business, HR, IT, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure that Extend application meet those requirements. Work closely with Business, HR, IT, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure that Extend application meet those requirements. Develop and maintain documentation for extend application, including process flows and technical specifications. Serve as a Workday prism expert with deep knowledge of design concepts, touchpoints with relevant functional areas in consideration of future product direction. Ensure accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, coding and problem resolution. Manage the testing and deployment of Workday Extend applications, including coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring that testing is thorough and complete. Stay up to date with Workday releases and new features, and work with the team to evaluate and implement new functionality as appropriate. Provide leadership and guidance to the team, and ensure that team members are engaged, motivated, and productive. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field 5 years of experience in HR technology, with a focus on Workday Extend and PRISM Strong technical skills, including demonstrated experience with Workday Extend and PRISM Experience knowledge of EDI, XML, XSLT, Web Services, SOAP, REST, JSON, Javascript and other integration technologies. Experience on EIBs, Packaged Connectors, Webservices and other integration tools. Experience on BIRT and Data Archival from legacy systems. Experience with Workday implementation including Prism, Report Writer, People Analytics. Strong project management skills, with the ability to work in multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues. Demonstrates a focus on improving processes, structures, and knowledge within the team. Leads in analyzing current states, deliver strong recommendations in understanding complexity in the environment, and the ability to execute to bring complex solutions to completion.? Stays current with emerging trends in specialty area. Identifies future state and dimensions of change (org, tech, cultural) to achieve. Creates transition plans for new processes, implements and monitors change. Ensures alignment of plans with the enterprise's strategic vision and translates the vision to connect to team's work.
