Senior Backend Engineer - PHP/Laravel

Job Description : We are hiring senior backend/Fullstack engineers (PHP-Laravel) in Bangalore (work from Office). our client is a Tech Product company, transforming Relocations with an AI-based relocation management System. India's highest-rated, One-stop Relocation Platform to book Packers Movers, Stays and Settling services for a seamless relocation experience and is funded by India's Top 10 Venture Firms. The company has also marked its presence globally and recently started offering services in the United States, Canada, the Middle East, Japan and Singapore. We are hiring ambitious talent with high aptitude and a growth mindset to be a part of our journey and grow with the Organization. Roles & Responsibilities : 1. As a backend /Full Stack Engineer you are expected to be adept at core software engineering skills(data structures, algorithms, system design) and imbibe best practices (agile, TDD/BDD, OOPS, Containerization, CI/CD). 2. You should be abreast of tech trends in your area of work (microservices, cloud-native, Redis, message queue) and the frameworks you use. 3. We look at you as someone who is a great coder in PHP-Laravel 4. Exposure to front-end frameworks like React / Angular will be an advantage. 5. Familiarity with limitations of Ruby On Rails as a platform and its workarounds 6. Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages 7. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git 8. Having exposure to working in an Agile-driven environment, working closely with Developers, Product Managers and Peers. 9. Good knowledge of the Unix/Linux command-line environment 10. Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges 11. Understanding of MVC frameworks/design patterns 12. Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable web application 13. User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments 14. Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system. Candidate should be comfortable with Working from Office, and high on accountability.
