The HEIG-VD is looking for a Collaborator Ra&D in Radio Frequency Technology Main missions: If you're passionate about pushing the boundaries of Radio Frequency technology and have the skills we’re looking for, we'd love to meet you We are looking for goal-oriented professional with an entrepreneurial spirit and a collaborative mindset ? In the frame of the “département Technologies de l’information et de la Communication" ( TIC ) and of the institute of information and communication technologies ( IICT ), your misisons are: You participate in the department's teaching tasks: help with course preparation, supervision and preparation of practical work You participate in carrying out applied research and development (Ra&D) work at the IICT institute, particularly in the fields of electromagnetism, Antennas, and Electromagnetic Compatibility. Your profile : MSc in the relevant field Expertise in EM simulation software such as CST, HFSS Proficiency in working VNA, Spectrum Analysers Familiarity with PCB design tools like Altium and KiCAD Insight into physical layer communication systems (WiFi, LTE, etc.) is a big plus Some knowledge of programming, python Mechanical design knowledge is a valuable asset Fluent in both English and French Activity : 100% Informations : Mohammad Azadifar, Chef de projet Ra&D HES, mohammad.azadifarheig-vd.ch Begin : June 1st 2024, 1 year of contract with the potential for extension.
