KEY SKILLS AND of managing WAN devices, WAN technologies, SDWAN, Enterprise Wireless networks, Network architecture, AD, Virtualization technologies, and other IT Infrastructure solutions Certifications like Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE), CompTIA Server, Network, Microsoft certifications, etc. shall be preferred Experience and knowledge of managing Cloud Infrastructure would be an added advantage Must have a good understanding of server technologies such as Operating systems, physical and virtual servers, storage and backups, disaster recovery Experience in software monitoring, device, OS patching, and configuration management tools Experience on managing network infrastructure (Router, firewall, DNS, file server load balancer etc.) Ability to manage stakeholder relationships including team members, vendors and partners Excellent leadership and communication skills with ability to present and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audience KEY plan, and execute day-to-day network operations including downtime, reporting service levels, defining and tracking IT operational metrics and provide status to management Prepare overall status and activity metrics that documents and tracks delivery of IT network services, planned and unplanned system or network outages, and other key IT performance metrics Ensure high availability of critical business network systems for both LAN and WAN Manage and ensure availability of MDM, Wi-Fi and handheld devices Own and maintain strict controls on network data and configuration backups and recoverability Manage partner staff members if necessary, in their daily operations activities as well as supporting network projects Manage overall capacity utilization of network equipment and ensuring the network services are optimized to meet business requirements Monitor existing IT network infrastructure, conduct preventative maintenance work Work to resolve L2 and above level incidents if delegated by Network lead Liaise with external suppliers and support vendors/contractors for the ongoing support and maintenance of relevant hardware, software, and specialize appliance Ensure that all work and changes are performed in such a way as to minimize all disruption to existing business use Document the network infrastructure processes, procedures and standards Track and manage activities in a productive, timely, and effective manner Work with the IT GRC team and provide necessary assistance for audit and assurance related activities Coordinate with the PMO team whenever necessary on network related projects (ref:hirist.tech)
