Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and driven Director of Finance to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 5 years of experience, preferably gained at an established accounting firm. More importantly, we are looking for individuals who are eager to operate in a management role within the tech sector, where their analytical skills and financial expertise will play a crucial role in helping our companies thrive. Key Responsibilities: Work alongside management team of high growth, highly profitable technology company. Manage finance function, including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, to support strategic decision-making. Assist in developing and implementing growth strategies, business plans, and operational improvements. Participate in due diligence processes for potential investments, providing valuable financial insights. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and opportunities for optimization. Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably at established accounting firms. Demonstrated interest in technology sector (SaaS, blockchain, fintech, ecommerce). Strong forecasting, modeling and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. Confidence to independently negotiate contracts and perform/lead due diligence efforts. A genuine interest in transitioning from accounting or investing to a management-focused role. Eagerness to be hands-on and actively involved in helping businesses grow and operate.
