Position: Estimator (Bridge and Infrastructure) Location: North Vancouver, BC Company: Leading Construction Firm Key Responsibilities: Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for bridge and infrastructure construction projects. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating. Evaluate materials, labor, and equipment required for projects. Utilize estimating software and tools to develop detailed and competitive bids. Present estimates to management and participate in bid review meetings. Track project costs and provide ongoing support to project teams. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred). Proven experience as an Estimator in bridge and infrastructure construction. Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., HCSS, HeavyBid, Bluebeam, or similar). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
