DevOps Manager -Toronto 1 Year Contract

JOB : DevOps Delivery Lead SKILL: DevOps, Team leadership of 20-30 people END CLIENT: Tangerine LOCATION: Toronto Onsite (right now 3 days onsite but soon changing to 5 days onsite) CONTRACT: ASAP – May 6, 2026 ( 1 year contract) Keywords: This is a DevOps technical Senior Manager role – strong in DevOps, basically main focus is DevOps , Team leadership and stakeholder communication Your new company You will be working with a leading consultancy firm that partners with various clients to deliver strategic IT solutions. Our client is a prominent organization in the banking sector, seeking to enhance their DevOps capabilities. This job is onsite (start with 3 days/week, then 5 days/ week onsite). Your new role As a DevOps Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for maintaining and leading the DevOps Platform portfolio and team. The team is 20-30 people. This role involves overseeing the DevOps Platform Engineering portfolio, providing leadership and support, and acting as the primary contact for DevOps applications within the organization. You will also be responsible for maintaining the DevSecOps Platform roadmap in alignment with engineering and banking requirements. What you'll need to succeed Ability to lead and support a team of 20-30 people, providing guidance and resolving escalated issues Proven experience in a senior DevOps role, with strong technical skills in DevOps Expertise in managing DevOps tools such as Atlassian Data Center (Jira, Confluence, Crowd), GitHub Enterprise (Self-Hosted), Jenkins (CI), JFrog Artifactory, Harness (CD), SonarQube (Code Quality & Security), Feature Flags Management, GitHub Copilot, and SCA & SAST Integration using BlackDuck and Checkmarx One (Cx1) Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevSecOps processes Experience in architectural design, new technology evaluations, and scaling existing platforms Ability to identify and interpret business requirements and strategize to ensure they are complete and meet standards What you'll get in return Opportunity to work on a high-impact project with a reputable client Competitive hourly rate Onsite work environment (initially 3 days onsite, transitioning to 5 days onsite) What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, please apply with your updated resume highlighting your relevant experience and hourly rate to J.Qinhays.com.
