Credit Risk Manager South Yorkshire £75,000 - £85,000 12 Month FTC Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a growing business based in South Yorkshire as they look to appoint an experienced Credit Risk Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a high-impact role where you'll provide both strategic oversight and hands-on leadership within the credit risk function. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders and lead a talented team, helping the business manage risk effectively while enabling smart, sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities: Lead the monthly Credit Risk Review meetings and make informed risk decisions. Manage credit assessments across various customer types, ensuring consistency and quality. Develop and enforce credit risk policies and define the overall risk appetite. Drive improvements in systems, processes, and reporting to support credit risk management. Monitor the customer portfolio and identify early signs of financial stress. Deliver financial and market analysis to support high-value or complex decisions. Lead and mentor a team of credit risk professionals. Represent the credit function during internal and external reviews. Handle high-risk or escalated cases, including direct engagement with senior customer representatives.
