In this role, you will play a key part in driving the development of analytics, surveillance, and data solutions within the riskCanvas End-to-End Anti-Money Laundering Tool Suite. You’ll contribute to business growth by helping design innovative technical solutions that support client retention and expansion. Working with large-scale data systems will be an important aspect of the position, as will your ability to identify, recommend, and integrate new technologies to enhance our stack. As a technical leader, you will be responsible for quickly designing and clearly explaining solutions to both your team and clients. Your strong consulting and technical skills will allow you to collaborate effectively with business leaders and technical staff to deliver high-quality solutions. Responsibilities Designing, implementing, testing, deploying, and enhancing cloud software for using leading-edge technologies and advanced analytics for AML in a distributed parallel compute environment Learning new methods, frameworks and languages to ensure optimal solutions Configuring and maintaining Hadoop-based platforms for Big Data parallel processes Using advanced techniques (indexing, caching, estimating, etc.) to improve code efficiency Evolving CI/CD pipelines to configure and deploy new capabilities Working with the Product Owner, teammates, and clients to gather and sequence business and technical requirements Troubleshooting and resolving complex data and processing issues Integrating designed data analytics into a larger software ecosystem Understanding and communicating complex technical solutions in the AML/KYC/EDD domain and evangelizing the riskCanvas solution to clients Qualifications we seek in you Minimum qualifications MS degree BE/B Tech/M Tech/MCA/BCA Passion to learn quickly and work independently and as a team Experience with building systems using AWS, Java, Python, and Angular or similar technologies Experience with Big Data and Cloud Preferred qualifications Experience demonstrating NoSQL database systems, including HBase or a similar data store Experience using distributed and parallel computing technologies, including Hadoop, MapReduce, and Spark, to write batch and streaming analytic processing jobs Experience implementing and demonstrating OpenSearch or a similar indexer Exemplary technical communications skills Experience working in an agile environment Experience with Linux operating systems Experience with relational databases, including SQL Experience with exposing query and analytic capabilities as RESTful services Experience with Python, Scala, R Experience teaching and leading technical conversations Familiarity with visualization and user interface technologies Experience with git and gitflow Experience with Jira Software and Confluence, or similar tools Experience in evaluating the cost and security implications of software solutions during the development process.
