Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant – Data Engineer Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Python and Snowflake. Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes to ingest data from various structured and unstructured data sources. Optimize and manage data warehouse solutions in Snowflake to support analytical and reporting requirements. Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver efficient solutions. Create and manage database schemas, tables, views, and other Snowflake objects. Monitor data pipeline performance and troubleshoot data issues. Implement best practices in data governance, security, and privacy. Maintain comprehensive documentation of data systems, workflows, and processes. Automate data quality checks and alerting mechanisms to ensure data integrity. Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions. Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications • BE/ B Tech/ MCA/M Tech • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualification: Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and automation. Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including SnowSQL, data loading/unloading, performance tuning, and access control. Solid understanding of SQL and working with relational databases. Experience building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferably with Snowflake integration). Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques (star/snowflake schema). Experience working with version control systems like Git. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
