Cloud Automation Engineer (IaC-Terraform, AWS or Azure scripting, LinuxOS)

THE ROLE We have an existing Fortune 500 client based in Monterrey MX with an urgent need for a Cloud Automation Engineer comprising of skills such as IaC-Terraform, AWS or Azure scripting, LinuxOS, Python, Ansible, including packet filtering, access lists, firewalls, WAF, IDS, DDoS mitigation techniques. Candidates can be remote anywhere in Mexico. This is a multi-year engagement and we will offer salary and full benefits. Candidates will have the option of converting to the client's direct payroll after fulfilling the mandatory period comprising a few years of contract. Responsibilities: Advanced cloud platform proficiency and strong experience with infrastructure-as-code, with emphasis on Ansible, Terraform and desire to apply automation to all aspects of network cloud administration. Solid understanding of multi-account and multi-region network topology and routing with contribution to overall architecture including intra-DC, Inter-DC and Internet Connectivity. Provides advanced level engineering design functions Provides trouble resolution and serves as point of technical escalation on complex problems. Creates presentations and seeks IT and business management approval and acceptance of significant replacements or reconfigurations of major cloud and network technologies serving the enterprise. Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network or network security devices. Requirements Cloud infrastructure management and automation. Building cloud networks at enterprise with using IaC Extensive running and maintaining AWS/Azure Cloud instances Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates. Solving problems at both cloud and traditional networks for large enterprises. Identity and cloud access management - what tool? Azure AD Cloud services and connectivity AWS and/or Azure Scripting languages/toolchain automation products such as Terraform, Python, Ansible , etc. Linux OS Understanding of and practical knowledge of approaches to network security for the purposes of troubleshooting: including packet filtering, access lists, firewalls, WAF, IDS, DDoS mitigation techniques.
