Job Description

Overview We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Warehouse Manager to lead warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse activities including inventory control, shipping and receiving, team supervision, and safety compliance. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong organizational skills and a continuous improvement mindset. Responsibilities Lead and oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate handling, storage, and distribution of materials. Supervise and develop a team of warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA). Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventory, and proper warehouse practices (FIFO, labeling, rotation). Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, managing logistics providers and optimizing freight performance. Maintain accurate documentation and system transactions in ERP/WMS (e.g., SAP). Partner with cross-functional teams (production, supply chain, planning) to support business goals. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Lead warehouse-related projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in all warehouse areas. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within warehouse, logistics, or supply chain environments in a chemical manufacturing. Experience with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), preferably SAP. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, safety protocols, and inventory control practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills. Preferred Requirements Project Management certification and experience leading operational projects. Experience operating forklifts or similar warehouse equipment. Prior involvement in warehouse layout optimization or continuous improvement initiatives. Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
