Job Description

The Analytical Solutions Senior Manager uses advanced data analysis methodologies and tools to drive the implementation of innovative solutions within the organization and to provide tailored solutions according to business needs and company strategies. By leveraging the power of data & analytics, this role helps to identify opportunities and enables timely and quality decision making, effectively driving the business growth. For this role you should have profound knowledge and experience in statistical analysis, machine learning (ML) methods, text representation techniques (NLP) as well as being comfortable performing data analysis from multiple data sources using different techniques and programming languages. You will help to maintain metadata, dictionaries, business and technical lineage, as well as reference data information aligned to corporate policies, assuring anomalies are identified and data quality and governance is kept at high standards. Responsibilities Proactive identification of business opportunities and development of corresponding solutions, including finding business cases to test hypotheses and cross-functional collaboration for an extended rollout of solutions through productionization. Delivery of production-grade ML/NLP models/systems and end-to-end analytics solutions on Consumer, Marketing and Digital Analytics (including Audience Segmentation, Marketing Campaigns, Website, etc). Knowledge and understanding of various aspects of NLU and statistical NLP. Ability to relate various modeling techniques to specific business challenges. Proficient in delivering solutions in Python and/or R languages, and ML tools, frameworks and libraries such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, spaCy, Hugging Face, Keras, etc. for both transfer learning and learning from scratch. Mining and analysis of disparate data sets/sources and/or new databases using different techniques and programming languages such as SQL, R, Python and Spark to query & manage various large data sets. Act as data steward for consumer data, ensuring in-scope systems, applications, and data processes adhere to existing data governance practices, policies, and procedures. Project Management - Professionally supports and delivers projects to achieve long term benefits, maintaining a clear view of objectives, risk areas and engagement methodologies required to gain business buy-in and delivery Identify, build and track KPI metrics to measure monetary and non-monetary impact of solutions (e.g. ROI, Revenue, Cost, Efficiencies, Effectiveness, etc.). Effective Communication - Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communications across different audiences and with the ability to articulate analytical ideas & solutions is must (verbal and written English is a must). Ability to work and deliver in ambiguous & dynamic situations as a part of a global multi-functional team. Requirements Proficiency in R and/or Python is a must. Proven experience in modelling AI and ML/DL and other modern techniques (NLP nice to have). Basic knowledge of Data Visualization Tools (Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy) along with understanding of UI / UX tools. Experience working with a range of BI & analytics architectures such as traditional warehousing, cloud (AWS/Databricks, Azure, Amazon S3, Teradata, Snowflake, etc.), visualization, etc. Knowledge in parallel processing using Pyspark for real-time processing, analysis and Pyspark ML modelling. Exposure to RDBMS tools like SQL, Redshift, S3Microstrategy. 5 years of hands-on working experience in Data Science and Advanced Analytics. Minimum of 2 years in consumer/customer, marketing and digital analytics. Strong communicator, proficient storyteller with the ability to explain complex solutions to non-technical audiences. Excellent English written, oral and presentation/communication skills is a must. Effective relationship management and cross functional collaboration with relevant experience in an international, English-speaking work environment. Experience working with Marketing stakeholders, understanding the area’s needs and collaborating to identify opportunities and define potential solutions. Bachelor’s in engineering / Statistics / Economics / Maths / Analytics or other quantitative discipline. (Master’s degree would be an added advantage) Desirable Experience working in the FMCG industryExperience/Awareness of MLOps (Deployments, model monitoring, etc)Exposure to other programming languages (Java, Scala, etc.)Experience working with unstructured data and first party consumer dataExperience in Agile methodologies, Scrum is desirable
