Maintenance Engineer

We bring water to life We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join our Reynosa team. In this role, you will support the residential automated manufacturing area. The Engineer will be responsible for maintaining all machines and equipment in optimal condition, in alignment with Pentair’s quality system objectives. This includes responding to quality issues, acting as a liaison between operations teams and technical support, managing corrective actions and improvement tasks, and leading asset replacement and upgrade projects. This highly visible position requires strong leadership, high energy, and a passion for collaborative teamwork while embodying Pentair’s Win Right values. Duties and Responsibilities: Perform safety assessments of equipment Plan and execute preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance Lead root cause analysis and implement countermeasures for equipment downtime and failure rates Identify and eliminate defects in the production line Provide guidance and direction to Engineering and Operations teams to improve safety, performance, quality, and throughput. Skills and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering development and embedded electrical product development Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded applications Knowledge of PLC programming Advanced LabVIEW skills Familiarity with Internet of Things (IoT) applications and wireless communications at the application level Proficiency with Altium or other electrical/PCB design tools Experience designing systems with SPI, I2C, UART, and CAN Experience in developing PCB schematics, layouts, and artwork Bilingual proficiency is required Diversity And Inclusion With our expanding global presence, cross-cultural insight and competence are essential for our ongoing success.
