Network Automation Engineer (Postman, API Calls, PowerBI, CI/CD, Ansible, Python)

THE ROLE We have an existing Fortune 500 client based in Monterrey MX with an urgent need for a Network Automation Engineer comprising of skills developing automation from scratch using Postman, API Calls, PowerBI, CI/CD, Ansible, Python. Candidates can be remote anywhere in Mexico. This is a multi-year engagement and we will offer salary and full benefits. Candidates will have the option of converting to the client's direct payroll after fulfilling the mandatory period comprising a few years of contract. Responsibilities: Solid understanding of multi-account and multi-region network topology and routing with contribution to overall architecture including intra-DC, Inter-DC and Internet Connectivity. Provides advanced level engineering design functions Provides trouble resolution and serves as point of technical escalation on complex problems. Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) Ensure automation processes adhere to industry best practices and organizational standards. Implement automated security configurations and vulnerability management processes. Conduct regular security audits and implement necessary improvements. Collaborate with global teams to ensure implementation consistency across the entire network. Develop and manage configuration templates for network devices using tools such as Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar. Requirements Developing custom PowerBI dashboards that poll data using automation that serves the needs of Global Network Services Developing Automation from scratch. framework with CI/CD pipelines, Ansible Tower, Containers, python and other tools in AWS and also on-prem. Need to be able to build the code from scratch, using Ansible/Python Developing and implementing automation scripts for initial network setup (Day 0) including device provisioning and configuration for Cisco, Arista, etc. Automate Day 1 tasks such as network device configuration, firmware updates, and security policy enforcement for Cisco, Arista, etc. MUST HAVE experience creating API calls using Postman to read and push data to cloud orchestrator platforms. What level of experience years? More senior role, will need to build things from scratch. Client doesn't have an automation engineer dedicated on the staff right now. Itential experience is a BIG PLUS
