Product Quality Assurance - FAI report

If your answer is yes, it’s your lucky day as we are looking for a dynamic and talented person to join our team in the US What will your role be? As a Product Quality Assurance - FAI report, your role will be to support the First Article Inspection (FAI) process by ensuring that parts are measured, verified, and documented according to quality standards. You will work directly with manufacturing teams to confirm that parts meet specifications and are ready for production. Your responsibility will be to compile FAI reports, measure parts, and verify all related processes and documentation. Activities: Measurement of parts at the manufacturing site in Tijuana FAI file compilation with inputs from the Industrialization teams Verification of the accuracy of drawings and ensure that they reflect any changes made to part designs Verification of production processes in every parameter Verification of tooling used to produce a part to ensure it meets specifications Ensure the manufacturer's ability to meet production needs Participate in peer review of FAI using Scalian remote teams Organize missing data gathering meetings (involving manufacturing, quality, and supply chain) Obtain validation from Management Report weekly on the progress of actions plans and FAI activities Complete and deliver the Form 1, Form 2, and Form 3 for every FAI with the following content: Gaps and NCs identified NCs/blocking points escalated to management The FAIR will be delivered in an Excel format or Net Inspect What skills and qualifications are we looking for? Experience in generating First Article Inspections (FAI) Knowledge of quality control processes and inspection techniques Familiarity with technical drawings and design specifications Experience with measurement tools and equipment Strong attention to detail and ability to identify non-conformances Proficiency with FAI software (such as Net Inspect) and Excel Ability to document findings clearly and accurately Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams Ability to escalate issues and coordinate resolutions with management and peers Prior experience in a manufacturing or quality technician role is a plus Why join us?
