The purpose of the vacancy is to provide corporate legal advice and monitor, control, and supervise that the organization's activities are executed within the current and applicable legal framework based on the corporate purpose. Main Responsabilities 1. Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements (clients, suppliers, private and government entities) is in both Spanish and English. 2. Prepare legal research memos and internal opinions and advise management on legal risks/implications of business decisions. May investigate legislative developments, evaluate legal deficiencies, and implement appropriate guidelines per the global policies. 3. Keep the corporate documentation of legal entities up-to-date according to the business needs. Prepare and control the powers of attorney of the legal entities. 4. Manage external law firms' work and assist in their respective budget control. 5. Manage cases of claims, complaints and litigation with third parties. 6. Coordinate/support one or more substantive areas of the law, and to advise on specific legal aspects. May coordinate the internal workflows/processes/projects on these topics (i.e. Commercial, Labor, Civil, Public Law, M&A, Antitrust, Intellectual property, Compliance, etc.). 7. Represent the company before federal, state and municipal authorities in legal matters of various kinds before judicial and administrative courts. 8. Promote, monitor and assist in compliance with the organization's policies and procedures and in activities related to the Organization's Ethics and Compliance Programs. 9. Collaborate with the LATAM and global legal teams to discuss and implement legal strategies, policies and documentation.
