Tata Consultancy Services is looking for a VMware Admin Work modality: Hybrid (Candidate needs to be located or relocate to Querétaro, CDMX, Guadalajara or Monterrey, it will be requested to attend office at least 3 day per week) Job summary Key responsibilities: Perform Level 3 administration for VMware vSphere environments (5.x, 6.x, 7.x). Manage ESXi hosts, vCenter, SRM (Site Recovery Manager), vRealize Automation (vRA), and vSAN. Troubleshoot performance issues, storage connectivity, and HA/DRS configurations. Implement and maintain VMware security best practices and backups. Automate tasks using PowerCLI, Python, or Terraform. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents and provide workarounds. Validate changes in the virtualization environment and coordinate with stakeholders. Monitor SLA compliance for uptime, performance, and capacity planning. Skill set required: Advanced English communication Minimum 5 years of experience on VMware VMware Suite: vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, SRM, vRA. Storage & Networking: Understanding of vSAN, NSX, and datacenter networking. Automation Tools: Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet for IaC (Infrastructure as Code). Windows/Linux Integration: Basic knowledge of OS-level troubleshooting.
