Job Title: Senior Strategist – Part time contract Location: Ottawa, Ontario The Client: Valued Government of Canada client in the Defense space Key Responsibilities: Oracle Software contracting and asset management · Provide strategic advisory services for the design and implementation of Oracle asset management processes · Lead negotiations for the upcoming Oracle Java contract before its expiration and optimizing the current operating model to enhance efficiency and compliance · Provide expert advice on the adoption of emerging cloud technologies including the identification of user benefits, as well as cost and schedule estimates. What you must bring to this role: Must have 5 years experience in Oracle software contracting and asset management for a large Federal Government department Must have 7 years of experience working with large, complex organizations in the management of Oracle software entitlements, including baseline assessments and audit defense for Oracle Java Candidate must have Secret Clearance Extensive experience in negotiating and managing enterprise Oracle contracts within the Federal Government for organizations with 25,000 employees Only those who are qualified will be contacted.
