Job Advert : Interim Director of Responsive Repairs Location: London We're seeking an experienced and dynamic Interim Exec Director of Responsive Repairs to take the helm of the Responsive Repairs team for approx. 1 year within a local authority. This is a pivotal leadership role where you'll be responsible for steering our responsive maintenance service, over-seeing operations, driving performance, and ensuring we deliver high-quality services to our residents. This is not a role for the faint-hearted. We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running, lead through change, and bring fresh energy and insight to a team undergoing transformation. Key responsibilities include: Oversees day-to-day housing repairs for council properties. Manages in-house teams and external contractors. Ensures quick, effective responses to tenant repair requests. Controls budgets and ensures value for money. Ensures work meets safety and regulatory standards. Uses data and feedback to improve repair services.
