The Role: This is a full-time, permanent position based in Bolton, with a mix of office and site work across the North West. You’ll be responsible for the electrical side of installations including solar PV, boiler wiring , battery storage, and EV chargers working closely with our install coordinators and project managers. You’ll be a key part of the team , helping to keep installs running smoothly and safely, and occasionally supporting other engineers with electrical advice or troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities • Carry out electrical work on solar PV systems, boiler installs, and heating controls • Complete testing, commissioning, and certification (NICEIC-backed) • Work closely with office teams to schedule and deliver installations • Perform site assessments and troubleshoot as needed • Ensure all work meets regulatory and safety standards • Support the ongoing development of electrical processes within the business • Occasionally assist with training junior engineers or subcontractors ‍♂️ What We’re Looking For • Fully qualified electric ian (NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, AM2, et c.) • NICEIC experience or scheme knowledge desira ble • Experience in domestic solar PV, heating systems, or general electrical insta lls • Confident with AC/DC wiring, inverters, isolators, and certificat ion • Self-motivated with strong attention to det ail • Happy working solo or as part of a t eam • Willingness to travel occasionally within the reg i o n Benef its • Salar y: £31,000 – £45, 000 depending on experie nce • Performance bonuse s • 28 days holiday (inc. bank holidays ) ☀️ • Regular office bonuses and incentiv es • Laptop, and p hone • Pension sche me • Professional development and training suppo rt • Friendly, supportive team environme nt • Free on-site parki ng • Team social even t s Why Join iH e at?
