Multi-Skilled Commissioning Engineer – Fire & Security Systems We are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Commissioning Engineer on behalf of our client, a leading UK-wide Fire and Security Systems company . Job Overview Position: Multi-Skilled Commissioning Engineer (Fire & Security Systems) Location: Manchester – covering surrounding areas Salary: £37,000 per annum, plus call-out payments and overtime Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (approx. 1 in 4 weekend call-out rota) Type: Permanent (PAYE) Key Responsibilities Commissioning of CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, and Fire Systems. Ensure all installations and commissioning activities are completed to industry standards. Conduct fault-finding, system testing, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance. Provide technical support and guidance to customers and internal teams. Work closely with project managers and engineers to deliver seamless commissioning. Complete and submit all commissioning reports and documentation in line with company and industry requirements. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times. Qualifications & Skills Previous experience in commissioning Fire and Security systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, and Fire Alarms. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Good organisational skills, including time management and prioritisation. Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the designated region. Applicants should reside within a reasonable driving distance of Manchester and surrounding areas.
